As mom to 7 kids, I know how hard being a mom is. You're always looking for your own identity, and looking for ways to help your family.
I have found that for us, staying home with the kids is the best option. But I felt guilty that I wasn't contributing much to the family's finances. So I started my search for ways to supplement the family's income and still stay at home.
I feel that I am still in the early stages of my journey. I still have a long way to go before I reach my goals, but they are looking possible now. I hope that by the end of 2009 I will have some money saved up for a small vacation, and within the next couple of years I hope to have put enough of MY earnings away to take my children to Disney before the big kids are too old to appreciate it.
